Police talks

A step in the right direction...

On the 10th of August, Year 11 participated in part one of the teenage health program Crossroads. It aims to educate the age group on youth-related problems, such as drug use, relationships, sexual health and mental health. In addition, the course will assist students to learn about safe driving (which will take place at Kembla Grange Racecourse on the 24th).

Part one had students participate in sessions on Mental Health with Headspace, a ‘Save a Mate' Drug & Alcohol course, and Police Youth Liaison session. The end of the day saw students take part in several initiative games on building relationships (which were super fun).

Hopefully the rest of Year 11 enjoyed it.
