Corrimal High School shows that it has it all!
The 2018 Year 7 Meet and Greet, along with the Year 4, 5 and 6 Open Night, was held on Thursday 1 March. Year 7 students, parents, carers and families received useful information from the 2018 Year Adviser, Mr Wellings, along with information from in2uni representatives and the transition team regarding the Individualised Learning support offered by Corrimal High School. Parents/Carers received a Personalised/Individualised Learning Plan (PILP) to beginning discussions with their child and will be completed at a later event to identify possible extra supports and opportunities that the staff of Corrimal High School can provide.
Shortly after, Year 4, 5, 6 students from our local CoS schools, parents, carers and families, arrived for Corrimal High School's Open Night. The 2019 Year Advisers, Ms Heap and Ms Banks, were introduced with attendees receiving information again from the transition team and in2uni representatives. Parents, carers and families were invited to view several of the schools facilities including the Science laboratories, STEM room, the Future Thinking Technical Learning Space and TAS department (Timber, Hospitality and Information Technology). Year 4, 5 and 6 students, on the other hand, had the opportunity to participate in several practical sessions including Chinese language lessons, science experiments, sport and drone operation.
The staff of Corrimal High School would like to thank all those in attendance and we look forward to working with you and your children in 2018 and beyond.
