Sydney International Boat Show

On the 16th of August, students from Year 9 and 10s Marine classes headed to Darling Harbour for an excursion to the Sydney International Boat Show. On this escapade, supervisor Andrew Laidler had them observe a bunch of boats - from 10cc to 400cc - and learn about general marine paraphernalia. In addition to being an awesome trip, the students got to learn a lot about marine careers, and even had a VR headset talk them through the layout of a Navy battleship.

Big thanks to the organisers. Hopefully it's just as good next year.
