Leading the way to Positive Support and Well-being!

Congratulations to the following Year 10 students who recently completed their 2 day Peer Support Leadership Training Course with Mr Foster, Mr Luskan and Miss Craig at the Bellambi Surf Life Saving Club:

Kaylan Bruton-Waite, Aiden Cartwright, Kias Chalmers-Mulder, Kye Chamberlain, Jordan Foster, Claytyn Gehrke, Shahne Hocking, Kiah Matthews, Savannah McDonagh, Oscar McFarlane, Jye Plumb, Ryan Ren, Phoebe Todman, Bernadeth Valentin, and Patrick Vallance.

These students showed tremendous commitment to the program and their efforts were outstanding throughout the entire course! The purpose of the Peer Support Program is to develop understandings, attitudes and skills necessary to help students:

  • Enhance their self esteem
  • Be more resilient
  • Cope with their changing environment
  • Foster positive relationships with others
  • Contribute to the well-being of the school community


The next step will now be assisting Year 6 students during Corrimal High Schools new Year 6 to 7 Transition & Orientation Programs which are commencing in Week 7. The Peer Leaders will be working in pairs with groups of the primary students and focusing on the following areas;


  1. Getting to Know My School
  2. Making Connections 
  3. Getting Organised
